Additional workshops

Kate is also available to facilitate celebratory and community bonding circle dance workshops. These circle dance workshops for family or community groups can facilitate a sense of identity, self-worth, personal insight, meaning and purpose.

Through the medium of music and movement Kate helps develop a spirituality which is the essence of being human, involving the ability to surpass the boundaries of the physical and material; development of a sense of self, insight and vision; the quest for meaning of life, for truth and ultimate values.
Kate’s practical workshops introduce participants to an activity which can help them explore aspects of spirituality and personal growth. Using movement and music through circles, Kate explores how this can help to promote self confidence, self-esteem, increase social interaction, co-operation and remove some of the barriers to communication and social inclusion. These workshops might be used as effective tools to help bond groups, alleviate stress, ease stressful situations, and generate a sense of well-being, increased self-worth and regeneration.
The flower dances were created by Anastasia Geng (1922-2002) who, although born in Latvia, lived in Germany. Throughout her life Anastasia was interested in the traditional music and dances of her native country. In Latvia many songs, dances and music predate Christianity and have their roots in ancient worship of mothers – particularly Mara, the mother of life.
Circle Dance Workshops
Dancing the Bach Flower Remedies
Both religious and secular communities continue to celebrate the dances and through which the whole body, mind and spirit embrace the message of the flowers.
Emotions are expressed through dance and we are able to embrace and welcome these as they flow throughout our bodies.

What is Circle Dancing?
The Centrepiece
For every one of the 38 Bach Flower essences a dance has been created. The joyful or meditative circle dances help body, mind and spirit to absorb the healing properties of the flowers.
